I bought one to keep my kids out of my bedroom. It worked well enough that my elderly dad bought one for his room too. We are now buying them for the other bedrooms and the pantry in the house. They work super well, easy to set up, and reliable. The quality is there as well. They sometimes do glitch out if you put your thumb on the device and it unlocks and you go to open it too fast. What surprised me though about this was that it uses the “Smart Life” app. That was a big plus for me because I have several other devices that use that particular app, so it was more than just easy for me to set up. It was a piece of cake.

I’ve had this since September and honestly, it’s been solid. I use it for the basement to keep the kids out and only myself and my wife have access and it’s great. Sometimes it doesn’t read our fingerprint but it’s very rare. Battery last a really long time and I’ve only had to charge it twice in 6 months. That’s from a minimal 5 days a week about a dozen times using it per day. I would recommend this to anyone.
