This lock seemed like a really cool idea and I love the idea of using my thumb to open a lock, but I keep having it where when I open it, it goes into setup mode and then it won’t lock again until you wait for a while and scan my other thumb. I have read the instructions probably twenty times trying to figure out what is going on and I don’t know. I am not going to use this lock on something if I don’t know if it will just not open or that I won’t be able to get it locked again.

I had some difficulty initially, but the third try worked and I was able to set my password successfully. I would love to share my strategy that eventually brought success, but I am not quite sure exactly what I did wrong initially or what I did right on the later attempt. I just kept fiddling with it, rereading the directions, and more fiddling…BAM, it worked.
I like the look of this padlock, the nine raised digits on its front are atypical of padlocks and I think I am not alone in assuming complexity based upon appearance. I like the flat black also. When I lock up surveillance cameras, the last thing I want is a shiny padlock glimmering and drawing unwanted attention. This padlock is a bit heavier than I expected, appears quite durable, and has a waterproof rating. I expect to achieve years of dutiful service from this padlock.

I had been looklng forward to using this lock for the gym since I first saw it. After reading the instructions a few times, I’ve been able to unlock it initially but now it will not lock. It opens without a fingerprint.
