At first, I was tempted to return it because my door was misaligned. However, after taking some time to analyze the situation, I decided to keep it and install it in a Mortise door lock system. The result turned out to be amazing, and I can still use the deadbolt mortise lock without damaging the existing door. Note: I am not a carpenter. I managed to install it myself with common hand tools.

I gave it 5 stars but was leaning to 4. I have bought 5 of these door locks over the past year and have returned just 1 of them because of its lack of functionality do to not reading the fingerprint accurately or often which turned into a pain. I rent out 2 rooms and have had several tenants live here so that being said privacy and security mean a lot to me and this does the trick. I can erase old tenants fingerprint when they move out and add new ones as they move in. It not going to keep burglars from breaking down the door but it will keep people out of your room so it works for my situation. I have 1 for my room smd 1 for the room across from mine, 1 for the garage and 1 for the downstairs room. I like the simplicity and that i don’t have to change locks after each new tenant that moves in or out of my place and it’s a revolving door in my case. Price is fair i recommend this product for light duty not for front door or main entry way
